Disney's Epcot Theme Park.

This awesome theme park was inspired by the creative ision of Walt Disney himself. It was his hope to celebrate human achievements through the use of imagination, inspiration, instruction and entertainment. Epcot is located at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida.

Epcot bestows upon its guests experiences and insights to technological innovations in international culture. This amazing 300 acre park, twice the size of Magic Kingdom, was built to replicate the types of exhibits found at world expositions. It is laid out in an hour-glass type shape and is comprised in two sections, Future World and World Showcase.

Spaceship Earth is the icon for Epcot Theme Park and is right there to welcome you as you walk into the main entrance of the park. It's illuminated at night and makes spending the evening in the park even more magical.

Future World contains several pavilions where you and your family can explore technology and innovations; Spaceship Earth, Universe of Energy, Mission:PEACE, Innoventions, Test Track, The Land, The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Imagination!

The eleven pavilions found in World Showcase represent the countries of Canada, China, The American Adventure, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Norway and United Kingdom. Some of these pavilions contain shows and rides. Sample unique foods and purchase national gifts/souvenoirs in shops and restaurants manned by actual citizens of the represented country.

For guests that are staying at in any of the Epcot Resorts or comming from Disney's Hollywood Studios you will find an entrance to the park between France and the United Kingdom pavilions called International Gateway.

Be sure to plan your vacation around one of the special events that the Epcot center hosts throughout the year. These include Epcot International Food and Wine Festival; from March through Mid-May meet garden experts and tour themed floral displays during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival; during the winter holidays you won't want to miss the Holidays Around the World celebration which features holiday traditions from around the world; and on New Year's Eve there is additional activities that include a New Year's Eve countdown and DJ dance areas throughout the park.
